4. A close encounter
   This cockatoo and its friend have been regular visitors to me at the apartment in Sydney. If I’d had the door open, they would have just come in … Such beautiful birds

5. In person!
   While at the Historical Novel Society of Australasia conference in Parramatta, I caught up with some of my retreat and writing workshop community. Joyful! Nothing beats a good hug!
