I can’t believe that we’re nearly at the end of 2024! What a year it has been and believe it or not, there are still places to submit to before the year clocks over 2025 and there’s loads to prepare for early next year if you have time to play with your words.

Have you got some work ready to submit? The year is not yet out and there are still places to submit to and opportunities open for writers. There’s also some on the horizon for those wanting to hone their work in readiness for next year.

I’ve done the work hunting around for places to submit so you don’t have to. I hope there is something for you or something you can pass onto another budding writer.

The Chateau Orquevaux is open for limited 2025 and 2026 residencies with no application fee. I’ll be going there in July 2025 and I’m super excited about this
