What is Meg’s Musings, I hear you ask. Well, it’s me (Meg) talking about whatever I feel like talking about. I talk about so many things like writing, reading, writing retreats, coaching, mothering, friendships, gardening, camping and walking. I’d love to have you listen, but even more, I’d love to be in conversation with you. Join my chats, notes and comment on my posts. These are the things that make me happy.

Why subscribe?

Maybe you’re here because you like my writing, you’re curious about the inner workings of my mind, or because someone else told you to.

Maybe you’d like to know more about coaching or what it’s like to be coached.

Maybe you stumbled onto my newsletter like you do when you’re fumbling around in the dark for the light switch.

Whatever brought you here doesn’t matter other than I’m grateful that you did because by subscribing you give me all the good feelings that matter to every writer who is tapping away at their keyboard in their dungeon.

You can choose to have a free or a paid. The big difference is that a paid subscriber gets my words popping into their inbox every two weeks rather than once a month, oh, and I sometimes give things away to my paid subscribers.

Who am I?

I’m a writer with words out in the world and I’m working on a couple of manuscripts and short stories. I run writing retreats and coach people to help them achieve their goals. I also work as a freelance editor.

In addition to that, I’m also a mum to three young men who bring me so much joy. I live in Melbourne (Naarm) that is the traditional land of the Woiwurrung and Boonwurrung peoples of the Kulin Nations and am forever grateful that I live here in a place where story has been told forever.

Stay up-to-date

You won’t have to worry about missing anything once you subscribe. Every new newsletter goes directly to your inbox. If you’ve disabled the emails, you’ll still find the emails in the Substack app inbox.

See you around!
