A series of my first time travelling through Europe before settling into my writing residency at the Chateau d'Orquevaux. This postcard is about Budapest
You’re a beautiful writer Meg and really enjoying your flowing descriptions of everything! I’m glad to got to the Szimpla Ruin bar, we loved it too. We went one afternoon, there was maybe 6 people there, we just sat and enjoyed a wine and a beautiful piece of music came on and we just sat in silence and enjoyed it. To this day everytime we hear it, we both just stop & listen and transported back to the Szimpla bar! They also have a delightful farmers market there on Sundays, I should have told you! I shall look forward to your next chapter
What a wonderful memory and even better that you can be transported back to it! I think the word is out about the Ruin bars now and it would be a rare moment to have so few people there. Thank you for your comment and for reading xx
