It's so hard to abstain from scrolling once you open a social media app on your phone, isn't it! I deleted the apps from my phone a while ago and only check in now and again on my desktop. I have found over time I check less and less, and I don't tend to scroll as much on the computer. The exception is Substack, which I kept on my phone because I like to read sitting on the couch rather than my desk.

That's a great trick. I have deleted them before from my phone and found that quite useful. It makes it less of a drawcard

I need to curb my scrolling and read more books. Thank you for the reminder. It’s one thing to have that niggling away in the background and quite another to see it in print. Elizabeth Smart is now on the list.
